If he's not eating crickets or earthworms, chances are there is something else going on other than not liking his food.

If you can possibly post some pictures and if you fill this out, we might be able to help more -

-size of enclosure
-# on inhabitants - specifically ( if there is another frog ---size differences ?)
-humidity
-temp
-water - type - for both misting and soaking dish
-materials used for substrate
-enclosure set up i.e. plants( live or artificial) wood, bark etc -how were things prepared prior to being put into the viv
-main food source
-vitamins and calcium ? ( how often )
-lighting
-what is, specifically, being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure
-when is the last time he ate
-have you found poop lately
-a pic would be great ( including the frog ) any little cell phone pic is fine
- how old is the frog
-how long have you owned him
- is the frog wild caught or captive bred
- frog food- how often and if its diverse what other feeders are used as treats
- about how often the frog is handled
-is the enclosure is kept in a high or low traffic area

oh!! he's wild caught and in a very light traffic area and i'm using tap water for him too. i've been changing it every day. he looks pretty chubby, which is normal? there isn't any other frogs with him at the moment. i try to pet him about every day. i don't know if that's good or not. am i stressing him too much? he ate at dinner/lunch (whatever you call it) last today.

No petting, they don't like that. Is the tap water dechlorinated?
