Default Is my white tree frog ok???

I have had my white tree frog (Skittles)for about six or eight months and there have been things that are not right. About two months ago he prolapsed,so we took him two the vet and then he was fine. A month after he prolapsed again but this time he was able to heal himself. Now his skin has turned brown and he seems to have worse aim when he is catching crickets. He also has to peed on me when I had to pick him up (he had never done that before now).

Is Skittles sick,is he stressed, am I being paranoid, or is it something else? What should i do about it? please help me

Default Is my white tree frog ok???

The peeing and hyperactivity is normal when they're stressed. They pee to deter their predators in the wild.

Can you answer these questions for us?

Please reply to each question so we may help.

    1. Size of enclosure?

    2. # on inhabitants - specifically (if there is another frog ---size differences ?)

    3. Humidity? How often do you mist? Do you have a fogger or misting system?

    16. How old is the frog?

    17. How long have you owned him?

    18. Is the frog wild caught or captive bred?

The encloser is 1ft5in by 11in,its only skittles in there, i have no misting system but the humidity is usualy around 40-70 and the temp is around 75. in the encloser there is a moss like carpeting, a stick, a little tub of water,a fake vine, and some fake leaves. i have not found poop latley. skittles is captive breed. I do not know how old he is but i have had him for about six months. for mantance and handeling i always wash my hands before and after i handle him which is only when i have to take him off the water bowl for daily cleaning and i clean the cage every two or three weeks. i have just fed him a cricket that is calcium powder dusted, and changed his water w/ reptisafe and filtered water.i use a thenomerator and humitity tester to keep record. for lighting i have two red heatlamps but at day i turn one off and open my window so daylight can come in. skittles is a whites tree
    frog
