Default How much water should be in a GABF cage?

I put a container of about 4 and a half inches of water for my small year old bullfrog, I'm just being over-protective and I want to make sure she can get out.

As long as the water never goes over her head then she should be fine

So it should be at her shoulder height? Her whole body is under water but every so often she comes up for air (she can stand on her back legs and poke her nose out of the water). Is this too deep?

Reduce the height just a little bit. As long as she can breathe without straining her legs to stand up tall she will be fine

I see some people with water that is twice the length of the frog. So can we make a deep and shallow areas of water using rocks?

I think that actually sounds better. That way she can choose which depth she would rather be in

A deep side and shallow side is good.
