I've a tomato frog, who is probably about 6-9 months old now. I was told it was male, and when I first got him...he ate every single day. A few crickets at a time. (He is removed from his enclosure and placed into a rubber maid with nothing but him a food to eat.) Now, I am having a hard time getting him to eat one cricket every few days. He lets the crickets just walk all over him. :/
Is this normal? I thought as juveniles they should eat every day. He is still growing (I really need to get a scale and weigh at every feeding.), and is substantially bigger than day one...but, I can't help but wonder if something is wrong.
He will not eat anything other than crickets. We've tried roaches, horn worms, red wigglers, etc. I'm getting smaller crickets today to see if that's the problem...but, I figured I'd ask y'all.

He is not fed in his enclosure. I always remove them because I want to ensure that they're eating. Last night, I left him in the feeding bucket for about 15-20 minutes and he eventually ate all of his crickets. I am wondering if he's just a slow eater and likes to eat in private.
My Frog Bob ate only at night and i'm thinking the same for your guy, he may
also shed his skin soon. When feeding him, try to do one or two crickets at a time.
