Does anyone know what kind of frog this beauty is? It looks like some kind of tree frog to me, but I've never seen this specific animal before. I'd like to know the common name, but especially the scientific name. Also, does anyone know where they can be purchased, and for what price?
Cruziohyla craspedopus maybe? Except the belly is the wrong color.
EDIT - Don't think so now that I googled more pics!
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
Thanks for replying. I looked up the Cruziohyla craspedopus, and it's a pretty frog.
However, like you said, the belly is not the same color as the above picture.
it's Linda's tree frog (Hyloscirtus Lindae). from Columbia

Google image search for the win! (Or TinEye:P)
The photo on arkive had the photographers name, Thomas Marent and a link to ardea.com. His images are here:
www.ardea.com - wildlife, pets, environment
On the right, hit "Search Within" and search for Hyloscirtus lindae to see a few more of this specific frog. Search for just 'frog' to see many other terrific photos. The non frog stuff is great too.
edit- He also has a gallery on his webpage for frogs Thomas Marent Wildlife Photography |*AMPHIBIANS but be warned it auto plays an annoying rainforest sound Why oh why?
I sadly have no frogs yet but i love them and i know them. also sorry for messing up the link.
I fixed your link to be clickable- I didn't notice that it wasn't before. The forum usually auto-parses these things, but if it doesn't there's an icon with a world and a chain in front of it just above the text entering area that can be used to manually make text into a link.
