I've posted many posts about my GABF before, his temps and humidity are correct. He has correct day and night cycles, and he uses the bathroom regularly. I've had it for about a year now so he's probably about 1 year and 3 months old. He always goes days without eating, he'll use the bathroom during that period so I know he isn't impacted. Sometimes he'll go a week and a half without eating, then he will eat for a few days and repeat that pattern. I try mixing up his bugs, roaches one day then crickets, red worms, and meal worms to give him variety. I don't handle him, except to put him in a feeding bin.
is this pattern normal? Like I said, temps and humidity are correct and his dirt is at the right moisture. I've double checked everything to make sure his enclosure is ideal. Is he just a picky eater? Is this normal?
Adult Pyxi frogs only have to eat once or twice per week so it isn't unusual.
1 year to 1.5 years. They reach sexual maturity at 1.5 to 2 years.
