    Default Is my frog impacted?!

Coconut fiber isn't really ever a problem. It is sold with the idea that there are some very messy animals out that swallow their substrate. Its easily digestible. It is good that she is eating but watch for poop. Some impacted frogs will continue eating. What kind of plants do you have (shape and texture of leaves) if its a parasite there are usually more than one so watch her very closely

That's good to know! I only have pothos but there are several of them, both in the land and water. In the water, the roots are revealed, white and stringy looking, I was wondering if maybe she somehow ate the roots? I'll keep an eye on her and keep her seperated

I'm pleased to say that there seems to be a tiny poop in her enclosure! She still seems a bit swollen, so I'm going to keep her separated from the others for a few more days. I'm wondering if I should feed her tomorrow to try to get her to poop again, and if so, I'm wondering how many crickets she should be offered--I don't want to make it worse if she is impacted. Thanks for checking back in!

If she is passing poop then that means that her gut is only
partially blocked if at all. Is her swelling evenly distributed or is she only
swollen on one side? You can try feeding again maybe one or two and
keep watching her closely. If she poops again then the passage simply
    cannot be blocked completly.

She appears to be evenly swollen. I will try to feed her again tomorrow. Thank you so much for the advice!

As long as crickets or other insects are smaller than distance between frog's eyes, they should not become an impaction issue. If frog had a normal poop then the item (maybe a piece of plant) is no longer an issue. Only way to tell if frog has internal parasites is to conduct a fecal test by a herp veterinary or lab. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
