So I'm thinking of keeping green frogs and breeding them in my neighbor's pond.
what does the world say about this?
Sounds good to me. I love Green Frogs!

anyone wanna share advice? or warnings? lol
I've found them finickier than other ranid species but not that hard to keep. they are fairly aquatic but definitely need land. they seem to be less skittish than other species (ie leopard frogs). however, they seemed to be more susceptible to stress and therefore bacterial/fungal disease. none of the green frogs i raised from tadpoles (i kept a few from a neighbor's unkempt swimming pool that year) survived; they were doing quite well up until I had to move for work and after the move, they seemed to not like re-arranged tank and eventually all died. meanwhile, i've had the same southern leopard frogs for several years now
ok thats great to know. thanks!![]()
