I just found out my apartment complex is coming into tomorrow to epoxy the bottom of my shower because it cracked today they said we had to keep our dogs out of the house while it cures due to fumes. I am assuming these fumes will then also be harmful to my frogs and I dont think i can move their tank. Should I attempt to move the tank and frogs or pull them out and plastic wrap the tank to try and keep the fumes out. To make matters worse I have to work all day as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
get a large shoe box from target and put them in that with a heater, add hiding places and ask your friends if you can keep them at their places. as for the fumes in the tanks, just let them air out for a couple of days. you can very easily transfer and keep the frogs in a plastic shoe box for a long while.
hope this helps.
I would cover the tank as you had mentioned and put them in a critter keeper or small quarantine tank. I'd take them to a family members or friends where they can be safe from the fumes and out of harms way. They'll still need sprayed, aerated and fed.
