I want to breed again

Since the last time I tried to breed my red eyes and it didn't work I want to try again,,, I would like some tips.
i read in a book to, obviously, start with a dry season and cut back on feeding (btw I feed my red eyes 20-30 crickets a week and about 10 of them die a week too, not even) since my tank is damp in the substrate (ground cocoa husks) it will take some time to dry up so do I cut back on feeding starting now or do I start when the tank substrate is dry?

The temp should drop to 21 degs C night and 27 degrees C night <== I'm probably just gonna keep it at one temp.
and the humidity should drop to... I don't know? <== help on this one!!!!!!
