    Default AGTF hurt hand

I've noticed that Marven my oldest frog who is a female has a hurt hand. She favors this hand very much and can't really climb too well with it. I'd take her to the vet but the bones in her hands won't show up on X-ray so I didn't see a point in the $90 for the visit. Her "pinky" finger looks like it got smashed. It's clear almost grey while her other fingers are green. I'd take a picture but she curls it under her chin. She will let me pick her up and hold her I can touch all her hands except that one which is understandable. She is housed with 3 others that pretty much leave each other alone. I've seen her hunt but she won't go far. She has lost weight and isn't as fat and happy as she used to be. Is there anything I can do for her? She sits on the lower leaves of her faux plant or sits on the water bowl but sometimes I think it hurts her too much to go to the bowl to get hydrated. She does have a really hard time shedding as her hand just is pretty useless and gets stuck to her face.

I would set frog up in a quarantine like enclosure by itself where Marvin can get easily to food and provide a clean environment for healing. Also would get one of Repashy's Calcium Plus products and dust all it's meals to ensure there's plenty of CA and vitamin/minerals to help out. If Marvin is not bowl trained, now would be a good time to offer food from a small glass bowl.

If skin is broken or the limb gets abnormal discoloration or swells up would recommend use of an antibiotic in the afflicted extremity. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Sorry to wait so long from responding. Thank you for your advice! I have noticed that her little finger looks a little worse then it did before. It looks like her bone is pushing up and putting pressure on her skin. I got a topical drip of B12 for her. She still has an issue getting to wet places and I still have to pick her up and set her in the bowl. She sits on the edge all shriveled and doesn't really fight me. I haven't put her in a quarantine tank yet. I was going to put her in a medium critter keeper and keep her in the big tank where I have the humidifier going.
