So I fed my frog a mouse two weeks ago and he ate it fine. This is not the first time that i fed him a mouse either. But, ever since I fed him that mouse he flat out has refused food. He doesnt seem sick, he has pooped a couple of times since, and he has even croaked a little at night. everything seems fine but the eating. anyone know why he randomly wont eat? He used to take worms from tongs but now just shoves it out of the way. I have also tried crickets.
He pooped a couple of times.,,but did he poop the mouse you think yet?obviously that last mouse did something to him....
Not sure if it was the mouse. Today he turned his head toward a cricket like he was going to grab it but then he just never touched it

Usually if fed an item such as a mouse, the frog may not eat for a few days or even a week, I know people with pacman frogs feed mice to their little monsters and simply wait for the big poop to come.

I'm still waiting for my frog to poop after a couple of nightcrawlers and crickets.. I can't imagine how long it would take him to digest a mouse.
Not sure what his problem is. Maybe the size of the frog and the size of the mouth are important, could you provide them? I'm sure someone has some advice. Good luck! Happy poop-watching!
He was a pretty large mouse for his size but I've seen videos of much bigger mice being eaten. I just feel like he should have pooped by now.

Good news. I woke up this morning and put some crickets in his cage and he started eating them!

Feeding a large mammal to a frog is a very risky action which can get frog sick or worse; if mammal starts rotting inside the frog before it's digested.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
If he hasnt pooped, try giving him in a bath of warm water, Ive used this method
when i had my tomato frog not poop. he always had good results afterwards.
