    Default Wood frog tads!

Hey guys, this is my first post so hello out there, I'm happy to be here. Anyway I currently have 30ish wood frog tadpoles that I'm raising so I will post pics when possible. 3 have already popped their back legs but others are way behind so they are all at different stages. Updates soon! The pic is before a water change. About 11 are here in my kitchen and the others are in a 5 gallon bucket downstairs. Feeding pics tomorrow!

    Welcome!

I raised a small batch of Wood Frogs last year, it's good fun watching them progress. Have you raised tadpoles before? Looking forward to more pictures

I raised some wood frog tads as a child...I would love to find them again.

Hello and welcome to FF! Your set-up will need to be modified so frogs can climb out into a dry area after metamorphosis. Lowering water level and slanting the container can help with that. Then would transfer froglets into a container with damp (dechlorinated tap) white plain paper towels as substrate. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Thanks! Can you guys help? I don't know how to get him to eat he's been fully terrestrial for 3-4 days now and ill have another one tomorrow. I know it can take awhile for them to eat so it might just be that but I cannot have fruit flies and he has turned down pillbugs, bloodworms, and miniscule pieces of worms. What else can I try besides these? I will keep trying in the meantime. Thanks again!
