I'm moving from NY to LA, and sadly I won't be able to take my frog with me. I'm looking to sell him locally if possible. I'm in the Rochester 14445 area. Also, if you have any more recommendations on where to advertise this, it would really be helpful. I want to find this guy a good home and this is the only place I can think of to put this. Here's what's included:
Exo Terra 18x18x12
Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hood 18" **( see note below )
Light Dimmer to control the brightness of the lights
Exo Terra Digital Combination Thermometer/Hygrometer
Zoo Med ReptiTherm Under Tank Heater, Medium
Water Dish/Fake plant decoration
Male fantasy frog
Vitamins/Calcium dust
Spray bottle
The exo terra has a brand new lid ( the old one I had rusted slightly, and after contacting exo terra, they replaced the lid for the cost of shipping. I've kept the old one and will also give it to you, as I had plans to take the screen out and replace it with glass but never got around to it. Currently the screen is partially covered by some plexi that I've cut to size ).This guy is a really good eater and has always seemed very easy going. I bought him local at a pet store and he ate tons of crickets as soon as he hopped into his new cage, didn't even need time to adjust. I feel like he was a young adult when I purchased him, and he's just now a full adult, but that's just how I feel. I'm not sure on his exact age. He croaks almost every night, but only several times, he's really not a bother and he's not very loud. I wasn't able to get him to eat night crawlers, so for now he just eats crickets. It would be nice to make back some of the money I spent on his setup, so I'm asking for $100, but honestly, as long as I can find a good owner for him, I'm flexible on the price.
**The Zoo Med 18" hood comes stock with two switches, one for each bulb. They're both wired to the same outlet, though, so you can't use separate timers to control the lights. I've re-wired the hood to instead use two plugs so you can use separate timers if you desire. The mod was easy and done tastefully ( just a small hole drilled in the back for the second cord ).
