Default Re: What Plant is this?

    Hello Sphinx,

I'll try to help. Maybe Bill will chime in. He's our walking/talking 'plant guy'. He's like a resident field guide

    Possibilities

    Pyrrosia nummularifolia

If so, it can take on a very different appearance depending it's environment...light etc.. This plant is not really easy to find.

some photos...( one of those silly google photo collections )

There is a Peperomia species that looks similar, but the leaves are larger/thicker. It's difficult to determine the size of the leaves in your photo .

It may be mistaken for Pyrrosia nummularifolia of which is a marginal. This plant would have lots of little hairs. - I believe.

Then there is Pellaea rotundifolia which is actually fern, but more commonly found for sale. A woodland plant.....my favorites.
I actually just pick up 2 cuttings of this plant recently. I prepped them, set them on the soil .....and off they go ! Nice plant

The hanging/trailing plant in the photo of the enclosure ( back R) has an oblong shape leaf and could be a 'lance leaf' ficus?

    BTW- welcome to Frog Forum
