Default Red eyed tree frog heat pad

I put a small all living things heat pad onto the one side of the tank (wall) and it's hooked up to a thermostats so it will turn on and off when it reaches the 26 degrees Celsius mark than turn back on when the temp drops (the probe of the thermostat is hanging from the cage lid a quarter from the heat pad) (so mid middle)But I figure that the glass that the heat pad is on will be hotter (35 Celsius) WICH is warm but not HOT! Is this gonna be a problem. Or is it okay?

That is a fairly common setup. Shouldn't be an issue. I personally prefer Ceramic Heat emitters to heat pads, but the placement on the outside of the glass on the side of the tank is a good location.

35c is the ambient temp? or the temp on the glass where the pad is? I use the pads myself, but you do need to be careful as they can burn frog bellies... I have a lot of foliage and climbing limbs in front of mine so my red-eyes aren't able to sleep on the glass directly on the pad.
BTW, I love the thermostats for heat control, I use those too. And the ceramic heat emitters are great especially when you have them hooked up to the thermostat.
