Guess we all missed this one; thanks for the links and info Lynn !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
That is a really great article. I always have a hospital tank ready to go, but this gives me other ideas on what I need on hand instead if having to order things when time is of the essence. I never thought about learning to examine their feces myself either. I bought my daughter a high powered microscope for her birthday this year so I do have one available. We have been able to clearly see the nucleus in our cells, so it is quality enough to work for something like this. She would probably love helping me play frog Dr with her microscope if the need arose.
I have a vet in the area that will care for herps, but when I took Atlas there, I was very unimpressed. They took a look at him, picked him up, and told me he wasn't going to make it. They didn't give me any suggestions at all, not for treatment or euthanasia. Luckily, he survived. It will be good to start doing more research and learning some if this on my own.

Hello. I'm not sure I'm in the right forum but I have a question. I have recently purchased a pacman frog about a month and a half ago. I finally got him settled down and eating but now I have noticed he seems to be turn more yellowish underneath. His diet consists of crickets, superworms, nightcrawlers and I have fed him one pinkie since purchased. He also gets the vitamin d3 dusting on his meal every other feeding. What can be the cause of this color turning?
Do you have pictures? It could just be an ornate Pacman.
Looks to be ornate, nothing to worry about.
