Sadly, since I got Vixen 4 months ago, we have battled off and on with him getting impacted. Luckily, with the honey baths, I have been able to remedy this.
But, this last time was rough. He is only fed crickets, and seems to gobble the Eco Earth at the same time. He still refuses tong feeding, and worms from Walmart (but my fish love them!).
He is very laid back, and really does not stress when I move him into his bath. So I have decided to start feeding him in a separate container. Is a plastic dish pan ok? It is not clear. Once he starts eating good, again. I am going to start introducing the crickets with the tongs.
He is around 96 grams and 3.75 inches. I have him in a 20 gallon tank with Temps at 80-82 and humidity at 80%.![]()

The dish pan or anything similar will do for feeding. I always take my frogs out and feed them by hand on the kitchen table. But I have Grey tree frogs and they don't have teeth so maybe you should not try the by-hand method, lol. But yes, any shallow dish that is big enough to allow the frog to move easily and comfortably in should be just fine.![]()
