I got my jabba when he was teeny tiny, (he was about 5 pounds give or take before he passed, he was huge!) and I had him 7 years. He died today suddenly. He was his normal healthy self yesterday. He lived with a female (gardulla) and they never had any problems, they got along really well. She is perfectly fine, just sad she misses her mate. He was such a sweet soul. I have no idea how he died, he didnt seem sick, he wasnt pale or discolored. He was lazy but he has always been lazy. had his normal appetite, and didnt act any different than normal. so I have no idea how this happened..... does anyone know?

I'm really sorry that you've lost your frog. I have mine for only a year and I become more attached to it every day, I can only imagine what 7 years would feel like. Keep an eye on gardulla over the next few days just in case something in the enclosure could have been the cause of Jabba passing away.
So sorry for your lossit is so sad.....
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
So sorry for your loss, its hard when these things happen . Good he had such a happy life with someone who loved him
maybe its sudden death syndrome (sds)
Sorry for your loss. Sometimes there are issues that you cannot see on the surface. He could have had an organ deformity or some other underlying issue that would need a necropsy in order to find out what happened.
