After reading your last PM I realized that native frogs may not be the place to look for this guy...? You said you got him from an internet site - or rather grandma did - right? Do you know the name of the site she ordered the tadpole from, dear? I would start there to see if they even know the species of frogs they are selling, lol. My tads are mail-order too, but I am about 90% sure they are Leopard Frogs. I wish I could see his face more clearly, could you possibly get a good side view of him sitting on the table or something? It would be very helpful in helping me ID him for you. And about the first pic, are his sides whitish like that or was it just the camera flash reflecting off his wet skin? Every detail is important when looking for a species ID, especially since I can not get my hands on him to see him for myself, lol. Oh and one more thing, how long did it take for him to morph from a tadpole to a froglet? Thanks Lyndsay, hope we can figure him out for you.

Wow, 18 months as a tadpole! I heard that the American Bullfrog can take up to 2 years to morph, lol. I am glad my leopard frogs grow faster than that, . I would not want to wait that long to see my froggys change, lol.
