So I rescued a frog labeled a dumpy tree frog but it looks way to skinny or lanky to be a dumpy. So I registered and I've heard it was a dumpy also. But today cruising gratiot I seen two terrarium at two different shops with frogs for sale labeled whites and dumpy, but different prices. But my local herp vet said it's the same, an Australian tree frog. I believe they're the same do you? Or is there a slight difference in genetics? If my my whites or dumpy is far behind weight wise. Any input is good!
White's tree frog, dumpy tree frog, and if you are in Australia, green tree frog, are all synonymous. Possibly the one labeled white was a white lipped tree frog?

No, same frog. I tried to explain, the "expert" said the dumpy had different genetic traits. Or some bs like that. I know 100 perecent it wasnt a white lipped. It was just a thined out dumpy.
Whitney's are dumpy, and dumpy are White's. But a thinned out one? Someone didn't take care of it before you. Dumpys are and should be exactly that. Dumpy.
