Thumbs up Frog has been "hibernating" too.

Frog has been buried on and off since January. He appears to be ok from what I can tell. I dig him out and feed him a night crawler. This is the first time he has done this. I have had him since December 2013.

Thumbs up Re: Frog has been "hibernating" too.

FROG is starting to come out now. He has never "hibernated" before. He's eating "dusted" crickets and night crawlers.

I have photos but the instructions on how to send them to this site are foreign to me!

My ornate male has hibernate also from the 1st of January.
I woke him 2 weeks ago by putting a lot of water in substrate and by heating again.
    Everything went good.
Hibernation is a part of their life cycle and everything must be done to help our frogs to hibernate in good conditions.

Usually, I start decreasing temperature and humidity beginning of November to help my frog entering in hibernation state.
