    Default Planters in Terrarium Backgrounds

This is what I'm currently working on. I carved out a hole for the pot after I took this picture. I'm wondering is there any way to add drainage for it now? If not ill just add a cork round or something. Also wondering what caulk that comes in black or brown that is safe to use. I want it in a caulk gun and I've heard that I cant use GE i or ii anymore. Now im worried because i put a small amount on the seal that i cut by mistake this morning. ThanksName: se9eny9u.jpg

    Hi rjm,

I don't build these kind of backgrounds. So, I'm not sure how you would imbed pots w/ drainage now?
You could add them on top of what you have done ....so far. It looks great !
If you attach long pcs of wood ( ie monkey ladder) up against this nice background ...you can certainly get vines to grow on/and along the wood.
You can mount bromeliads on the wood you have there.

What frogs will be housed here?

Nice suggestion Lynn! Monkey ladder, fantastic idea. I'm thinking how to incorporate one into a tank now.

Oh no, I thought you meant you were done foaming. You can just poke holes into the foam inside the pot, pointing down towards the bottom to create drainage. Let it drain down the foam, hidden.

I thought it had to drain to somewhere outside the foam. Ahh I see. I can just let it drain in the foam itself?

Yes you can. It's waterproof, but the air holes in the foam act as a drain.

Put the divider in for the water, pot in place and I carved out a cave. Also taped the wood for silicone. That will done after I water test divider.
