Are adult FTBs big enough to handle large crickets instead of small?

I have 3 Copes Grey Tree Frogs and they are around the same size as a Fire Bellied Toad. I try to feed my frogs medium crickets but as of lately Pet Co has not had medium crickets available so I have only had small crickets (which if you ask me should be relabeled micro crickets because they are SO tiny) and large crickets to choose from. I am trying to set up my own breeding colony of crickets so I no longer have to worry about selection and availability any more... I bought the small (micro) crickets first and tried those, 2 of the three would not even bother with them and the one that did had to eat nearly 15 crickets just to be happily full so I switched to the larger ones. I was concerned that they were too big for them to ingest and that they might choke while trying to eat it, but i was wrong. They actually do just fine with them but I can only feed them one to three per feeding depending on how big they are instead of the 3 to 5 small to medium crickets they used to eat several times a week. If the crickets are fully grown I would not feed them more than 2 per feeding as it may injure the toads stomach. If you are still concerned about the size only feed them one each and see how they handle it. If their belly does not become overly swollen they can handle the full size crickets. Good luck with your toads. : )
