    Talking Pet Personalities

I never expected my rose hair tarantula to have such a personality, but she does. She reminds me a bit of Tina from Bob's Burgers (if you are familiar). She is really good about being handled and hasn't even tried to be threatening with me. It's adorable, I even gave her a kiss once.
Anyone else have *very* docile tarantulas or other stories of surprising pet personalities?

I have two tarantulas, and they are both pretty chill so far (Brazilian Black and Chaco Golden Knee.)

My favorite pet as far as personality goes has to be my toad, Gwen. She is absolutely fearless. Doesn't ever cower or show signs of stress when being handled. Sometimes when I go to pick her up, she will even strike my fingers with her tongue (I guess she associates the hand with feeding time!) Pretty ballsy for a soft, 2-inch critter.

Boy do my mantids have personality!! Many different types even in one specie. Hierodula are always determined to do what they want, popas are mello, chinese are charming but can be bitey.

And Phoebe my mexican red knee tarantula is sweet and calm. I dont know how to describe her personality but shes always good. And funny. I gave her a live pinky last month. She climbed the wall of her critter keeper and stayed there until I removed it! Silly girl!

It's so interesting that such little things can have big personalities.
I love that story of your T. She sounds too sweet. Then again, I have too big of a soft spot for Ts.

my toad is a pretty interesting little fella, he's quite active but calm when handled! he'll sit by me for long periods of time or in my hand and he won't do a thing.
I love when he wakes me up in the night doing his trilling call hehe
