I have a tadpole with a bubble in his side!
There are lots of bubbles at the surface, so could he have eaten one???
He is starting to swim on his side because the bubble won't let him stay upright. I don't want any of my swimmies to die. Even though I know some will eventually.
UPDATE: the bubble has passed through his side and into the center of his intestines. Now swimmy is swimming upside down!
Not much you can do here. If it's only one tadpole, it's not a big worry and either it get's absorbed/expelled or tadpole won't make it.
If other tadpoles develop similar issues, then you could have a water quality/bacterial problem. What are you presently doing to keep water clean?
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
how is that even possible?
