If you have seen my introduction, i was showing a video of my tadpoles which I think belong to a western chorus frog. I have seen the adult in real life (It even got on my hand for a while)
If this is a western chorus frog tadpole, tell me please? I don't want to mistake it. Oh and I also heard the call of the adult it sounded like one too. So I am prettg sure I'm right. It sounded like a Cree-eee-ee-eek.
I have a special tadpole also. They usually turn clear in the dark, but one of them stays transparent the whole day! Since I named all of my tadpoles "Swimmy" (there were too many to count) I call this one "Special swimmy" and I'm wondering, Does Special swimmy have a certain gene or condition that makes him clear all day and night?
I cannot wait to see what they look like when they are all grown up. But I will miss them when they go back into the under-the-road-pond where I found them...
Thanks for reading!
