Hi all
I have some Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs (australian). When I put them in the sunlight they all go a nice green colour (which I know means they are fairly healthy) although, in the vivarium they really vary. I know they can vary in colour based on light, temp, humidity etc. But my main concern is that frogs who are resting in exactly the same spot in the cage are totally different colours. Two of them are always fairly bright green but the others go really brown to all most black. Is this something to worry about? or are they just different because they are individuals?
As long as enclosure parameters are met and frogs are eating a varied diet with supplements, I would not worry much about coloration.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
