Froggy Love-handles

So I have four FTBs; Putin, Lenin, Pyotr, and Ivan. I was pretty sure that Putin was a girl but there is some evidence pointing other wise, like her/him amplexing everything with a pulse. However her/his shape looks feminine to me. They have these little froggy love handles, nothing that looks like bloat and she eats normally/exercises just like the rest of the gang.
Are there just different shaped frogs, like there are different shaped people? Or maybe I got a middlesex frog haha

Females are often "fatter" or wider than males in the frog world. This does not apply to all species, of course.

Yeah, I knew that general rule, but I also heard female FTBs don't amplex, so it's a very confusing time! Maybe she's just establishing froggy-dominance?

Saw her? getting amplexed today--no release cry-- so we'll see how this turns out.
