    Default good or bad growth

I know naturally things grow in your tank once set up however how do you know if it is normal or bad? I have had my tank set up for almost a year now and I have not added frogs because I am worried they will die from something in my tank. I have a water feature and all live plants. what are some things I can do to know I have a safe environment?

Plant health is a major indicator. New growth is always a good sign. I can actually get a better sense of the health of my tanks by my plants than just the readings on my thermometer/hygrometer set.

Just looks like a lichen or fungus. Shouldn't pose any problems.
