Hi Ellie! Would recommend remove from the sand any gravel/pebbles that could fit into a frog's mouth . Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I also recommend getting a digital thermometer.
the glass one is a bit dangerous as they can break and cause a big problem if it does.
Some background placed at min on the back of the aquarium will help keep the frog less stressed.

    Nice setup
    Your frog will do fine.

I have always used glass and never had a problem ... Maybe I should get a digital for Natsu too. I do agree it needs a background.

Should I be concerned that my normal is almost the same color as my sand? He is SOOOO light sometimes I think he is the albino.

I wouldn't fuss about that kind of stuff. You just got them. Let him settle in. The come in a variety of "tints" anyway and can fade when not comfortable yet or stressed.

He is my shy one anyway. So who knows The retic is clearly comfortable , it almost never hides.

I am feeding them Xenopus food ... Is there anything else I should be feeding or supplements or anything? I like to give my animals the best

I did a water change and cleaned the filter ... Just waiting for the water to clear up ... I think their pellets make it a bit murky
