adding smaller silver dollars to my tank

So here is what I am going to do. I am going to put the male ac frog into the 10 gallon tank and the fish into the 40 gal. tank. A friend has a 75 gallon tank I am going to see if they will sell me. If not I may be able to get a 55 from someone. Either way I will be getting one. So how long do you think my frog will live in a 10 gal. tank? With the water changes ect. I would think that the 40 gal. tank will hold the silver dollars until that happens. Considering that I will have to cycle the tank and prepare it.

Honestly a clawed frog can live in a 10 gallon forever really so long as you keep up on water changes and maintenance. I just feel they get more swimming space in a 20 gallon long.

I just put him in the 10 gal. tank, I don't think he is happy since he is so used to being in the big one since I got him. I am in the process of looking for a bigger tank. Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it!!

Silver dollars have a tendency to devour small meaty morsels like guppies, neons, frogs feet.... so you might want to think it thru first.
