I'm looking for any suggestions on how get my reticulated glass frogs breeding. I have had them for over a year. I got them from UE. I have 6 of them 2:4 I think. I hear calling and have seen females ripe with eggs. they are on a misting system that goes off 5 times a day for 20 seconds at a time. Humidity is high and temp is about 22 C at night and 27C during the day. Has anyone had luck breeding these frogs? Do I need a rain chamber? Any help would greatly appreciated.

Can anyone help me with these gorgeous frogs?

Hello,
I would say you need a rain chamber, and some patience while trying to simulate dry and rainy seasons... And I would first try the methods breeders use for other neotropical tree frogs like Agalychnis spp. or Phyllomedusa hypochondrialis, it might be similar with glass frogs.
wish you success!
Agree with above recommendation. From their AmphibiaWeb page information; they require vegetation over streams to deposit their eggs in leaves. Maybe simulating that in enclosure will help too. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
I Have had these guys over water since I got them. I think I will try a rain chamber.
