I am building a large wooden and glass Paludarium and need some technical help.I would like to know if Drylok will stick to rubber? If not what about Fusion for plastic.![]()
Have not painted on rubber; but imagine you can contact the product manufacturers and ask if product will work on rubber. Think Drylok was designed for use on masonry type walls only, so you might find out it won't work on rubber or plastics. Krylon does answers questions at their FB or Tweeter pages. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
not very much will stick to rubber. in fact most products that do are very caustic and require a ridiculous amount of steps (etching, special primers, activating agents, ect) to gain any sort of long lasting adhesion. that's why most products made from rubber are either black or tinted a color.

Your best bet is to line the tank with glass, siliconed corners. Drylok will adhere nicely to glass.
Be sure to water test all seals, joints, corners before starting the drylok.
