By golden tree frog do you mean Phytotriades, Phyllodytes, Litoria or Polypedates?

You're in luck, i keep one. I think i'm the only one keeping that here or anywhere else i've been (in terms of forum) and hopefully there'll be the two of us. Yey! LolThey are very active if rehoused into a new enviroment. Most frogs would just hide away but not these guys. They do get to grow quite big though. My female is like 3.5" from mouth to vent. They jump slowly and quite awkward to watch. They also like dipping into water when they feel like it and descends on lower levels to hunt.Just hit me with questions by the time you have them!

I seem to notice that their lifespan are shortened when they're out of Asia. The last two persons i know, one from the US and one from the UK, who kept these lost their frogs in less than a year. Really weird @_@

Here is a nice article with some information on them: AmphibiaWeb - Polypedates leucomystax.

In general terms, tree frogs are nocturnal to a more or less degree. You can use red lights to observe at night, although some species will require complete darkness in order to become active. Once your shop get's them you can observe and make any comparison's with other available species. White's are very common due to their apparent tolerance to being handled.

Myself thinks the Golden Tree Frog are very handsome frogs. You have to decide on a species because mixed species tank usually turn into bad ideas with some of the frogs ending sick or dead .

Recommend conduct a full 30 day quarantine once you get them. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
