So I ended up talking to a breeder of Agalychnis annae/callidryas and she said that when they put froglets into polycarbonate cages the frogs' skin secretions would break down the plastic releasing toxins, thus killing them. It seamed pretty anecdotal, but like I said one did survive from last year and there was only one that did not get all put into polycarbonate. Coincidence? Who can say?
