Finally got an axolotl. I still need to wait til month for me to get a properly gendered partner. For now he'll do. It is a male, right? @_@

It's roughly 6" but it looks too young to be sexed yet. I can see a slight bulge so i assumed a male already

Its not really possible to tell from this angle for me, but he/she is very attractive! I LOVE the white belly, you should send it to me and I can send you and whole mess of babies or eggs. Females can also have a slight bulge as well or just in general be not flat, but give him another month or two and it should be apparent. One of my males I thought was a female actually until he was about a year old and then one day I came home from work and he revealed he was a boy all along.

The white belly's what got me too lol. Yeah it does have a very faint bulge but not too bulgy enough to confirm that its a male. Hopefully a female. I like how they're chunkier looking
