This idea is amazing!! I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out

I'm renowned for disliking Dr. Who but even I would love one of these in my home

I'm sure I've seen a Dr. Who helmet for aquariums on ebay that would look good in there!

There's an old, disused red telephone box right next to my house, this makes me contemplate turning it into a terrarium

Go for it!! I always wanted to convert one of those, but the prices are just ridiculous on them for me to gut it and make it a Viv.

I may still work on this one. There is a lot of trim work that needs to be done. I just don't want to damage anything when I move.

Does the Willy Wonka build mean this one is staying behind the curtain for even longer? You're killing me.

Also how did the house hunting go?

Yeah. This one is actually disassembled and on the floor until I move. I'll pick it back up after I move.

House hunting is stressful. Having service issues with the lender because they are dragging their feet. Going to a different lender tomorrow. We were very particular as far a what we wanted were, and since we'll be in this house the rest of our lives, we warned just what we wanted. But we did find one we liked.

    Awesome!

Yeah we just bought our house back in Sept with the intention of it to be our last house, but 2 factories in our small city closed adding nearly 1,200 people to the unemployment list. We may be forced to sell and move before the city falls on its face.

Man, that's awful. I really hope it doesn't come to that for you. Especially with 1200 newly unemployed. That kind makes for a bad housing market to say the least

I was cruising the forum and got so excited when I saw the thread title, since I'm a HUGE Whovian, but I was so sad to see all the pictures gone! I wanna see the TARDIS viv!

Sorry to say, I had to scrap it. The case I built turned out to be too large for my new house. I may build one down the road a bit, but for now, it's on the back burner.

[QUOTE= This "should" be my last, although I keep having the swamps of Dagobah pop in my head from time to time. I have been keeping this one a secret because I wanted to be the first to build one of these tanks. I let hints out here and there.

Dagobah? I've been planning a Degobah themed tank for my bullfrog. Went as far as shopping around for an X-wing model.

Did you know that you can actually buy a model kit of the Dagobah version of the X-wing? There's even fiber optic kits that you could install to get the X-wing's cockpit and exterior to light up.

Sykwalker's ship in a vivarium would be pretty awesome! Add a reptile fogger to complete the effect.

Don't get me started on the Forrest of Endor vivarium I have floating around in my head......

I always wanted to do the Dagobah tank in a 75 for mossy frogs, but I sold off my 75 a few years back. I am acquiring a new 75 in the next few weeks, but I have that planned to be a planted aquarium, so the Dagobah tank is all yours Abe. If you need design ideas, let me know. I also had plans for a Pandora tank too. But passed on that idea. I'm enjoying my simpler, more elegant tanks right now lol

I think I saw this tank or similar on Pintrest. I was thinking more of an after the rebellion years later tank. Build the entrance to the base that generated the shield into the back corner of the tank. A few Imperial walkers broken down, becoming grown over and part of the landscape, like a old farm truck left in a field all rusted and growing weeds.

That's the vision I have for seen, it is my destiny.....

Have you seen the video online where some dude turned a RC drone into a star destroyer? Good stuff
