I would like some information on Chubby Frogs. I work for a pet store & they were given up by a customer. I have never had them before. I have done lots of reading on them. I am using Forest Moss as the substrate, I mist them twice a day, I feed them crickets every other day, dusting them every 2-3, feelings. The temp is 75-80 degrees. I have read they are nocturnal, but all mine do is stay buried. They are eating & get fresh water every day. I have not heard much of a noise except something that sounds like a sneeze. Is this normal behavior? I have only had them about the week.
Hello and welcome to FF! You can Google "Chubby frog care" and will get a few hits; but the information varies a lot. What I would do is read our excellent Pacman care article and follow most of that; but keep enclosure humidity at 70-80% and the temperature at 75-80F with around 5-10 degree drop at night. Recommend replace the moss substrate with shredded coco since it's an impaction hazard. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
