    Unhappy R.I.P. Lumpy

Last night I was saddened to learn that my little toad lumpy came out from hibernation to look for something to eat. Sadly, I was not aware of his coming out of hibernation until I saw that he was already dead. I'm tired of this winter and it's changing temperatures. One day it was below zero, and the next was 40 degrees (F) which caused little Lumpy to think it was spring. Hopefully Lumpy will forgive me, for not being there with him in his final hops.

"Look on the wall behind you. Look at that little girl's face. I know you've seen it. But you know what she's never going to be able to see? She's never going to be able to see the simple wonder of a leaf in her hand. Because there's not going to be any trees. Now you think about that."

No he wasn't outside, but the room he was kept in, without my knowing, had some bad temperature problems, however, it was not below zero inside.... :P
