    Andrew,

Thanks! The moss I bought from neherpaculture.com it is under their live plants section. They clean and process it for you prior to shipping. It does go through a browning phase when you first add it, but I love the way it looks! As for the crickets, I feed my reds from a glass bowl. I will place the bowl on the rock in the front of the terrarium each night before the lights go out. Some crickets will escape and might drown in the water. I will add a few shrimp and a sucker fish to the water. The shrimp will eat any crickets or poop that make it into the water. The springtails will also jump into the water and eat on the crickets.

The rocks I buy from a local nursery. They are thing flag stones that are meant to be used as paving stones for a walkway. I buy one that is roughly the size of the enclosure and then I break off the excess pieces with a hammer to make it fit.

Thanks Bill. I think the new setup will work just fine. I don't see any major issues. I am going to replace the water filter. I feel like the current one is just to under powered. Once I have a bit bigger filter in I will add a few fish/shrimp to the water and then start adding some leaves to it, but I am not rushing the water part. Don't want to end up with a mess on my hands lol.

I like this layout a lot better than the way it was with the bowl in the middle.

Here is a link to a video with a walk through of this tank and 2 other tanks. I also did a quick look at the space I am setting up in the basement as a frog room.
