Hi,

I can , only, share my experience
I have 2 breeding pair of R imitator "Varadero" and a breeding pr of O pumilio " Black Jeans".
I have limited experience with the pumi. However .....have three tads ( or more? / eggs?) in the enclosure based on their behavior.

Besides leaving the O pumilio tads in the enclosure ( vs removing the R imitator tads from the enclosure) ,
I see little, if NO, difference in their day to day care.
I have left the, witnessed, 3 pumi tads in their enclosure, as that is my best advice from a person I respect.

Both species , IMO.....are easier to take care of then what we read about.... assuming you are proficient at maintaining the enclosures for them.

In general, my imis are more bold ....then my pumis.

The females of both species are more bold then the male(s). Mine ...anyway

Hope this helps

Lynn
