I have decided to go with the naturalistic setup with coco substrate and moss, and have opted to feed them outside of habitat. I really like the natural look and am willing to do a little more work during feeding time to maintain this look. Two questions though:
1. Is the coco substrate necessary if I cover it completely with moss, or is that just duplicating needlessly?
2. If substrate is a requirement for the moss, what is the recommended cleaning timetable? Like how often I need to replace part or all of the substrate.
If the coco substrate isn't required, I was thinking about placing the paper towels at the bottom and covering it with the moss for easier cleaning when it comes time.
