    Question Pandinus imperator

I got my first pair of emperor scorpions. I enjoy them very much! I believe one is a female, though I have not checked out the other (smaller) one. Any sorts of stories, tips, or adventures regarding these magnificent creatures.

Deep deep substrate to dig, they love tunneling, 5"+ if possible. They are also very sensitive to vibrations, I had my Asian Forrest scorps(different species but very similar care to emps) next to fire belly toads at one point and the vibrations from the filter stressed the scorps to the point of not eating, I moved the fire bellies and the scorps started eating like pigs

I have mine on a shelving unit on top of my tarantula, so the only disturbance they get is really when someone walks by. So far they have hunted the crickets I gave them and a burrowing. I used a good portion of coconut fiber.
My only complaint is they won't live my damn succulent alone!

I can tell that already! I caught both of them either sitting on it or moving it around. Little hooligans!

Yes, the girlfriend finally got the space and is letting me get my exotics I've been begging for since I've been good with my ACFs lol
And I had to get another cat because my kitten was not leaving the cages alone. =___= Now she is transfixed with him!

The first one, Ian is a little smaller and thinner than Isaac. I have no idea how old they are or where they came from, but they were being housed together at the store I got them from. I was just wondering if anyone can take a stab at the age/gender. I think Isaac is a girl, but I'm really new at sexing arachnids.

After some research on sexing them, I got the little-ish guys to stand up on the glass and give me a clear view of their underside. It looks like I definitely have one male and one female :O

I still have no clue about the little fellows ages yet
