Default My Tomato died from prolapse

My tomato passed away today and way before his time. He died while prolapsed for the 3rd time. The first time, I isolated him, did a sugar water bath and kept him on a thin diet. About a month later, he prolapsed again and within 30 minutes of me noticing, he pulled it all back in. Now a week and a half later he prolapsed, I isolated him again and did the sugar bath, lubed him up too. He wasn't getting any better so I had a vet appointment booked for him for tomorrow but he didn't make it through. I kept his humidity up in at least 60%. I had an alarm set for 3 AM so that I could mist him and make sure he was doing good. I fed him dusted crickets once every week-week and a half. What could I have done differently for next time when I wish to adopt another little guy? I will answer any questions too.
