Great you are doing this for your students.
But you will want to keep Michigan separate from the tads and even froglets until they are big enough not to be eaten by Michigan.
Frogs will eat just about anything that moves that they can fit into their mouthes.
Sadly they are cannibalistic.
So you will be keeping two tanks for a while.
Keep us posted and please post pictures.
The tads are separate, and I have a little 1.7 Gal tank that Michigan lived in for a while (until I started learning about their space). I figured the little guys can occupy the two smaller tanks until they get big enought to go in the permanent tank. I'll see if I can get good pics of the babies and Michigan's new bigger home![]()
