Alright, so I'm thinking of getting a pair of Phyllomedusa hypochondrialis to breed. Can a breeding pair of these little guys live happily in a 10 gallon tank?

From what I've read; 10 gal. volume is minimum for one only and should add 5 gal. per additional frog.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
If you want to breed phyllomedusas you def need more then a pair and do a very in depth research on how to keep them properly, cycle them properly and how to breed too. It is not easy even for experienced keeper.
10 gal is too small for 2 frogs.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

At a minimum you need 2 males / one female...but If you want true success 4 males to 2-3 females. Do you research first though. This isnt an easy frog to work with at all. Keep in mind once you have the eggs...proper care for the eggs....and EVEN WORSE the tadpoles...you will need several other smaller tanks for proper care of the tadpoles and MANY hours of time to work with them. This isnt a joking matter. Be responsible and get the materials and research months before breeding. Proper quarantine of your new frogs is the utmost importance.
