Good morning all,

Just a quick question for you, my Exo-Terra tank is 2 weeks old. It's all planted out and the plants are doing VERY well indeed. Small problem - On my piece of wood in the middle, white and green mould has started to develop. I read somewhere this is perfectly normal, and it will eventually die. How true is this?

Is it a good idea to take the wood out, clean it, and then soak it in water for 24 hours to make sure it stays moist? (I imagine the mould problem is where the woods is wet and then dries out?)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm itching to get my tank ready for frogs!!
