    I love your eastern box turtle. I wish I could have one too, but they are illegal to posses here in Massachusetts.

    Thanks I dont know the sexes of them but i do know that I walk into the room yesterday evening and one had mounted one of the others I have six of them the one that was being mounted didn`t bark at all so I guess she was female and the one doing to mounting was a male maby I will have a new genaration of toads I will need to be reading up on how to take care of babies

    No, there is no way to just look at an animal and tell it is captive bred, unless it is some sort of mutated colour morph. Eastern boxes are native to MA and are a species of concern, so I can't have one. Maybe if it was an albino I could.
