Thanks! They are on a little tv tray that is attached to a utility ladder using electrical tape to stabilize the tray and then a stick taped to the ladder to hold the heat lamp over the center of the 2 containers.. pretty comical. Going to offer them fruit flies tonight and see how it goes. Though I am guessing they will be to stressed to eat

BTW I got them from LLL Reptile. They arrived on time and were packed very well. They both look extremely healthy... and that is with the temp outside her ebbing just over 35F

    Congrats!

Feel free to send us a msg if you need any help.

Hint: try covering 3 sides of their containers to help them feel safe .

    So cute!

    Thanks heather!

After the pics were taken we covered 3 of the sides with a towel and left them alone. They have both moved onto their Pothos and go to sleep

Is there a trade secret for feeding fruit flies to baby frogs? We are dusting them with Calcium with D3 and mixing it up and dusting them with a multivitamin once a week. But the darn fruit flies all climb to the top of the quarantine tub and hide. The babies are eating some of them, but I would like to find a way to trap them in a bowl or something and give the frogs a fighting chance at all of them.

Well the 30 day quarantine has officially ended! Mal and River are doing awesome. They both eat 2 - 4 crickets a night and have taken to sleeping side by side on the same leaf every night. Its super cute

They are still to small to move into the big terrarium with Roy and June so they will continue to live in the little tupaware container for a bit longer. Hopefully they get a little bigger and we can get the whole gang together lol.

Here they are a couple days ago. I was changing out the paper towels and had to snap a picture of them sleeping all snuggled up.

Yes they eat Crickets. We put 2 - 4 for each one of them in depending on the size.

Ok it is well past the 30day quarantine and we have chosen to extend it due to them still being a bit on the small side. They are over an inch long each now. My wife and I have a disagreement on if we can put them in with the Bigger RETF yet. I think we can, the little ones are bigger than the crickets Roy and June eat by a long ways. My only concern is the babies having to compete for food. They eat smaller crickets still. The wife wants to wait a bit longer before we merge the 2 groups. I am thinking of feeding the 2 groups in 2 separate bowls. Roy and June know where to look for food each night. If we fed the little ones in another spot maybe the bigger frogs would ignore the smaller crickets...
